The Burnsville-Yancey Chamber building is also home to the Yancey Economic Development Commission. With local infrastructure projects totaling more than $330 million over the last 10 years, Burnsville is a welcoming and ready destination for businesses wanting to expand or relocate.
The Visitor Center & Chamber Office is built inside a former garage and filling station from the early 20th-century that served the people of Burnsville for many decades. Public restrooms are located at the east end of the building.
In the front room of the Chamber Visitor Center sits a 1922 Dodge Roadster automobile. It serves as reminder of the building’s earlier time as a service station on Main Street. People love seeing the vintage car and taking pictures. Facebook
Ginger and Jaime invite people to stop by the Visitor Center. They’ll be glad to help you find a local business, make reservations, offer driving directions and suggest local shops, galleries & restaurants.
