The Burnsville-Yancey Chamber of Commerce invites you to partner with us, support the local community, and promote your business as a Chamber event sponsor. We host hosts five major events during the year and there are sponsorship levels for any budget.

Member of the Month - The Burnsville-Yancey Chamber of Commerce offers members the opportunity to showcase their business or highlight achievements as the Chamber member of the month.

Co-op Advertising - The Burnsville-Yancey Chamber offers co-operative advertising for 4 promotional events a year through the Yancey Common Times Journal. The cost of a co-op ad is $50 and your business will be promoted in a business card sized ad on our full page promoting the event.

The Chamber participates in numerous state and regional co-op advertisements, brochure distribution, county maps, and trade shows.

Chamber Sponsored Events

Mt. Mitchell Crafts Fair, Christmas Parade, Burnsville Metric, Halloween on the Square, and NC Scholars Lunch.

Scholarship

The Chamber presents two $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors.

Regional & State Involvement

Member of Southern Tourism Association, Blue Ridge Mountain Host, Blue Ridge Parkway Association, NC Travel Council, North Carolina Association of Festivals & Events.

Members have the opportunity to serve on the following committees: Crafts Fair, Small Business, Scholarship, Travel & Tourism, Membership, and Events.
