1pm: Terry McKinney: He grew up in Mitchell and McDowell counties surrounded by traditional mountain music, and he has been singing and playing gospel, mountain, bluegrass, or classic country music most of his life. To Terry music is his first love and the audiences love him.
3pm: Bearwallow: Morganton, NC, based Bearwallow performs a unique blend of progressive bluegrass, old-timey folk, and classic country. They constantly look to reach new heights and audiences as they continue on their musical adventure.
1pm: Smokey Joe: During Smokey Joe’s 35-year career, he has played as the house band for a live radio show, was nominated for string band of the year while playing with the Wisteria String Band and won the Charlotte Music Awards “Country Show Case” with The Smokey Joe Show in 2008.
3pm: Amantha Mill: A community-oriented folk/bluegrass act with one foot rooted firmly in our heritage and the other planted in exploring new acoustic sounds.
1pm: Sam McKinney: A talented young local singer and guitarist from Spruce Pine, whose repertoire includes a dynamic mix of traditional and contemporary music. His captivating voice and guitar styles immediately engage the audience and leave them wanting more.
3pm: Roan Mountain Moonshiners: T.V. Barnett and his band play nothing but east Tennessee style oldtime mountain music, they way it’s been played in these parts for hundreds of years.
