Food Vendor Application

Apply online now for the 64th Annual Mount Mitchell Crafts Fair
being held August 7 & 8, 2020.

Your application, photos and menu must be submitted to us by April 26, 2020 with a $30.00 non-refundable processing fee. The food vendor application deadline has been extended. You will receive a letter of acceptance by e-mail along with details on how to submit booth payment online via PayPal. Full booth fee is required by 10 days of receiving your acceptance letter or you will forfeit the booth space.


Please Note

  • All Vendor Spaces are 10 ft. wide x 10 ft. deep. All product and supplies (everything) must stay within this booth space.

  • All tents must be weighted down by 30 lbs. on each corner and all weights must not be protruding outside your tent space.

  • No Electricity is available in the food Court Area: Only Honda 200 Whisper Quiet Generators may be used.


Pay Online

Vendors can pay their application fees and booth rental fees online electronically through PayPal. We accept PayPal and credit/debit card payments. If paying through PayPal, you will be taken to PayPal to complete your application transaction when you submit the form. You will receive an electronic invoice for rental fees after your application has been approved.

Food Vendor Fee

$350 for a 10x10 foot booth space (in addition to the $30 application processing fee).


Discounted Combo Food and Drink Sales

$650 to sell food and drinks from a 10x10 foot booth at the Crafts Fair.


The Mt. Mitchell Crafts Fair is celebrating it’s 63rd year of presenting beautiful and unique crafts, music, food and fun to the many visitors and locals who faithfully attend. The Chamber of Commerce is the organizer of the event and coordinates all book- ing for the show. The Chamber reserves the right to refuse any vendor from participating in the fair. By By initialing and dating in the box below, you agree that you: 1) have read and understand the application and process and agree to follow all of the fair rules and regulations; 2) that the description of your product and pictures are a fair representation of your product; and 3) that if accepted to the fair, you agree to operate your booth the entire duration of the fair, with no early breakdowns.

Please upload below 5 quality photos: 2 of your art/craft, 2 of your working process, and 1 of your display/setup.

These photos MUST be uploaded with your application or it will not be processed.

If you submit a sample of your work, please mail it to Yancey County Chamber of Commerce, 106 W. Main Street, Burnsville, NC 28714. Please note that work submissions will not be returned by mail. You may pick up any submitted work at the Chamber no later than September 2, 2019.

We require photos to be uploaded even if you have participated in the Mount Mitchell Crafts Fair before.
