What is Leadership Yancey County?

​

Leadership Yancey County teaches participants about everything Yancey County has to offer.  It is a seven month program with monthly class sessions that will equip future community leaders with the knowledge and ability to take Yancey County into the future.

What will I learn?

​

You will find out about Yancey County Education, Industry, Health & Human Services, Small Business, Tourism, Parks & Recreation, Agriculture, and County & City Government.

What is the cost?

​

The $200 admission fee covers your transportation and meals for all sessions as well as materials and graduation.  A limited number of $100 scholarships are available first come, first served.
